Library

Welcome to the Prospect Park School Library!

We believe that reading can take you all around the world. Because of this, we strive to provide each student and staff member with appropriate reading material for research needs, personal growth, and pleasure. Each school member is connected to our library through book selection, lessons, research projects, etc. From 1st grade through 8th grade, our hope is that we can instill a lifelong love of reading in our students, as well as produce ethical users of information. Please come visit us anytime during school hours!

"There are many ways to enlarge your child's world. Love of books is the best of all." - Jacqueline Kennedy

"I cannot remember the books I've read any more than the meals I have eaten; even so, they have made me." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

"What the world of tomorrow will be like is greatly dependent on the power of imagination in those who are learning to read today." - Astrid Lindgren

"We may sit in our library and yet be in all quarters of the earth." - John Lubbock
